NEWS FLASH: Victory for TCFC Members and TUCSON!!!
CAMPING BAN ADOPTED IN WASHES AND PARKS
After three years of grassroots organizing and a previously failed attempt, the Tucson Crime Free Coalition is proud to announce a major step forward.
Finally the Mayor and Council are listening to their constituents, and we thank our members for never giving up. Your persistence made this victory possible.
Together, we speak with one voice for public safety, accountability, and a community where everyone can thrive.

Tcf seems to be like Nimbys. Just how far do you want homeless moved? Oracle? Benson? New Mexico?
And New Mexico wants homeless moved to Arizona?
If ppl in Tcf confronted this problem back when it started, Reagan then turbocharged during Clintion 1 & 2, none of this would ever happened.
But “comfortable moderates” fight nothing, until it affects them directly.
Selfishness, self-centeredness. That is the root of your deranged attitude of suffering Americans below you.
Tucson Crime Free would of never needed existence, if yall fought for people below you, 40-50 years ago, when this cruelty started.
Instead, you belittled people below you. And now you want homeless moved to Phoenix, and Phoenix wants them moved to Tucson.
GET A CLUE “comfortable moderates”.
Comfortable moderates are in Both Parties, its not a party thing. Its a Class thing.
Me again. I forgot a word in my last post. I should have referred to the Wooden Tooth Records guy as a good guy.
And, on the topic of supporting the good guys and gals, here’s another business to support: The Blind Guys. They’ve really had an issue with vandalism, and they got some media coverage for it.
So, when it came time to replace the window blinds at my place, I chose The Blind Guys. They did a great job. Highly recommended and very worthy of our support.
I just came within a whisker of having my bike stolen after shopping at the Food Conspiracy Co-op. One of the UN-housed (sarcasm intended) came up behind me and grabbed the bike out of my hands. I was on Hoff Avenue, which is a one-way northbound street, and I was walking south to 7th Street.
Well, what the thief didn’t realize is that a) I have a big mouth and b) there was a good nearby. He was unlocking the door at Wooden Tooth Records, and he ran across 7th Street to confront the guy. Mr. UN-housed (sarcasm intended) dropped my bike.
And said bike is firmly back in my possession. The perp took off and headed down 4th Avenue, and we lost sight of him.
So, I would like to propose an outpouring of support for Wooden Tooth Records. Spend your money there. That guy is a hero!
Thank you for your tireless efforts in moving this very important ordinance forward. If we only had the Law Enforcement Officers needed to keep it enforced! That is another battle, though. It is heartbreaking to see what is happening to Tucson – your dedication is greatly appreciated.
Actually, there are already city code, county code and state statutes that deal with all these illegal activities.
Here’s what Karen Uhlich said in the article KVOI Channel 4: "Uhlich said she doesn’t fear lawsuits or legal challenges. “To me, it’s less about fear of litigation, and really trying to hold onto that compassion that Tucson is known for and I believe is central to our values by creating some boundaries,” she said"
Personal liability for their actions is the only thing that will solve our problems. She doesn’t fear lawsuits and why should she, we are paying for it. She does whatever she feels like doing because there is no penalty to pay. Why all these suits probably don’t affect her ability to get personal insurance, loans, financing, etc. If we were sued it would have tremendous repercussions for us, but heck “she doesn’t fear lawsuits”; she;s a real fearless warrior risking to put all on the table for what she believes. The “all” being all the money in my wallet.
Personal liability for actions that endanger public safety.
