Kevin, thank you for explaining that you were asked to support the event. I thought your group was organizing the event, but I was mistaken. I understand that your group is happy to accept invitations from other groups. Thanks!
Oh no Sarah— candidates who actually want to address the vagrancy, drug dens, and rising crime rates? The horror! Yes, they happen to have an “R” next to their name — probably because they’re the only ones actually showing up to do something about the mess on our streets.
If the other candidates (of any party) want to stop enabling lawlessness and start protecting neighborhoods, I’m sure they’re welcome to join. But until then, don’t be shocked that the people willing to speak up and step in are the ones getting the mic.
Also, thanks for pointing out that the event has candidates and is sponsored — almost like it’s… public? And people can show up? Wild concept, I know.
Thank goodness for The Tucson Crime Free Coalition. They are the only voice that aims to make Tucson safe again.
TCFC was asked to support this event and will support any event supported by Democrats. We ask any Democratic organizations who are sponsoring candidate meet and greets to contact us as we want to be a sponsor and get out the word!
This page says Tucson Crime Free Coalition is “a non-partisan coalition,” but your readers should note that your candidate event only includes one GOP candidate for each office (many other candidates are running). The meet and greet sponsor Turning Point Action is a well-known conservative organization.
