SUSPECT ARRESTED!

This is huge news. Great job Tucson and PCSD! Violence like this can’t be tolerated in Tucson.

The victims still have a long recovery ahead of them. If you would like to support Juan Cristobal Flores, here is a link to donate: https://gofund.me/e41226ff2

Stand with Juan Cristobal Flores Local Opera Singer Fighting to Survive

[from his Gofund.Me page]
On Friday, December 26, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Juan Cristobal Flores, a beloved local opera singer and University of Arizona student, was critically injured during a double shooting at a Goodwill donation center in Tucson, where he is working full-time.

Juan Cristobal is now in critical condition at a local hospital, fighting for his life. Known in the Tucson arts community for his powerful voice and gentle spirit, Juan Cristobal is a dedicated opera singer who had already performed with Arizona Opera and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Music is not just something he studied — it is who he is. Friends, mentors, and fellow musicians describe him as extraordinarily talented, disciplined, and kind, with a future full of promise.

TCFC attended and live-streamed the Press Conference and was invited by the family.

TCFC supports getting the message out about Juan and this story to everyone far and wide to honor his struggle.

Star Village, Safe Streets (two stabbings in area of Alvernon and Speedway along with an armed robbery at Speedway gas station at same intersection, just since Dec 30). It’s not working.
Now does anyone know whether the below was the result of community failure:

Loving parents? Caring for disabled son as long as they could? And then, did they just run out of options? Were there no resources available for these people? It’s possible they just decided to go it alone, but don’t you think they tried to get assistance? And did they not get it? We have no idea, but it looks like a good hard working family, Tucson citizens in the true sense of the word, with such a sad ending.

Then there’s that flock surveillance camera tower providing overwatch of everyone doing everything they do while collecting personal license plate numbers, providing to personal identifying information and time stamps – while they fine tune facial recognition. All of that information is documented on someone’s server and backed up somewhere else – all of it forever, unsecure and hackable. Just go download deflock.me to see the rest of those. Unless you are into being surveilled, it’ll probably make you mad.

And, just in time for the New Year, here’s a glowing report on Star Village!!!

Aren’t you dazzled by this thoughtful use of our tax dollars? I know I am!!!

    (Sarcasm off.)

You refer to “the homeless crisis.” That nomenclature causes an instant emotional reaction of (misplaced) victimhood. Use this phrase instead: “the overnight camping crisis.”
