TCFC Friends and Supporters,

As the official 501(c)(3) tax-deductible organization for the Tucson Crime Free Coalition, Nexus for Hope is focused on fixing what is not working in homelessness, public safety, and addiction.

Right now, billions are being spent, yet outcomes remain inconsistentIndividuals continue to cycle between the streets, nonprofits, emergency rooms, and sometimes jailProviders, law enforcement, healthcare, and government are all working, but not in a way that produces resultsThe issue is not the effort being put in; the issue is how the system itself operates.

Through direct work with outreach teams and community stakeholders, we identified the core problem: the system is fragmentedInformation is not shared in real time, individuals are repeatedly processed without continuity, and accountability is limitedPrograms continue to receive funding whether they work or not, and the cycle simply repeats while our communities continue to feel the impact.

Expectations have changed, but the infrastructure has notFederal policy is raising the bar, with the FY 2026 THUD bill shifting away from Housing First and requiring strict reporting on self-sufficiency, treatment engagement, and measurable outcomesLocal governments and nonprofits are now being asked to track sensitive data tied to treatment and stability to keep their fundingWithout the right systems, this creates severe compliance risks under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.

Nexus for Hope is built for this exact momentWe are actively piloting and testing technology solutions that allow agencies to track interactions, coordinate across sectors, and report outcomes; all while protecting sensitive data and reducing compliance riskWe are engaging at local, state, and federal levels to push for funding that is tied to real outcomes rather than just good intentWhat works gets scaled; what does not gets fixed or replaced.

AZ Gives Day is April 7th. Please join our mission of accountability and humanity. With your tax-deductible support, we can create safer, more prosperous communities for all through coordination, accountability, and humanityThis is about building a system that delivers, not one that just continues.

Thank you for standing with us all these years!

What is NEXUS for Hope’s relationship with Gospel Rescue Mission (GRM), founded in Tucson in 1953 by the father of the current director daughter? Their motto is Homeless to Wholeness. I look forward to your reply as I have a major contact at Gospel Rescue. We are willing to promote NEXUS.
