THANK YOU MEMBERS for your Emails!  (HB2742)  PASSED!  8-1 Today! 

So now we are asking you for another email for tomorrow's Senate Bills!

 Please EMAIL BEFORE 8AM, Thursday, Feb 15th! (Tomorrow Morn)

 As you know we are NON-PARTISAN and working with Senator Justine Wadsack (REP) and Representative Consuelo Hernandez (DEM) 

This is your opportunity to push the hard work we have been doing over the last 1.5 years forward like never before!  These bills make it possible to hold people accountable for lawlessness, get them the help they need and make the County Attorney and Mayor and Council do their job to protect us.

Here are the Senators you will be emailing: 

Sen. Bravo, Sen. Epstein, Sen. Hernandez, Chairman Kern, Sen. Rogers, Vice Chairman Kavanagh 

Here are the "G.R.A.C.E." bills we are supporting:

  1. SB1578 involuntary treatment; substance abuse
  2. SB1591 criminal damage; fine; business victims
  3. SB1593 homeless encampment; crime enforcement
  4. SB1597 mental health court; incompetency; diversion
  5. SB1612 aggressive solicitation; sign requirement
  6. SB1613 theft; classification; private arrest
  7. SB1614 fentanyl; threshold amount; one pill

Dear Senator,

As you are aware in our state, and in particularly in Tucson, we are under siege due to the game-changing use of fentanyl and crimes committed by people stuck in the cycle of drug addiction.  Our state needs clarification of law to hold people accountable for their actions that are making everyday life unsafe for all as well as causing record under-influence pedestrian deaths.  These Senate bills go a long way to clarify to law enforcement and Arizona county attorney's their responsibility to enforce rule of law and provide a chance to get people to the help they need to stay alive.

 

PLEASE Vote YES on SB1578, SB1591, SB1593, SB1597, SB1612, SB1613, and SB1614

    This needs to be taken care of and something needs to change before we (AZ) are the laughingstock of the country. It’s bad now, imagine what it’s going to look like in two years.
